Before any of my professional work, my own personal experiences taught me the power of resilience and support. Sometimes, knowing someone is on your side can make all the difference.

As a therapist, I aim to be that support for you, and to highlight your own strengths and resilience. I have years of experience working with survivors of trauma and know the importance of building healthy relationships for everyone, regardless of their history. In sessions, I use an integrative approach, and work to create an open, safe environment where you feel like you can truly be and understand yourself.

Young adulthood is full of so many new life experiences and milestones. While many of them are exciting, sometimes all of these changes can be overwhelming and difficult. Whether you are struggling with relationships, processing traumatic experiences, or exploring your own identity, my hope is to help you along the way. In sessions, my style is flexible, drawing from Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy frameworks. This allows you to identify which tools work best for you. I believe you are the expert of your own experience, and my intent is to work collaboratively with you to help you explore, process, and learn about yourself. Understanding the reasons why you think and feel the way you do can be truly transformative.

MY WORK WITH:

YOUNG ADULTS

specializations

I believe children are far more capable of expressing their emotions than we give them credit for! As a therapist, I aim to help your child communicate in a way that meets their needs. In sessions, I work to identify your child’s strengths as well as help them to see and grow their own abilities. I enjoy using both play and art therapy in my sessions to foster creative expression and decrease stress. Ideally, my work with your child will not only improve their ability to cope with difficult feelings, manage frustrations, and express emotions, but will also improve their relationships with others in their life (including parents!). When working with families, I aim to create a space where you can work toward your shared goals while celebrating your care for one another. In our sessions, I focus on allowing each family member to to support, connect with, and listen to each other in a way that works for everyone.
