Deanie Eichenstein, Psy.D. earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from California School of Professional Psychology at AIU. Additionally, Dr. Deanie completed a two-year pre and post-doctoral training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, a type of therapy that focuses on the impact of early childhood experience in shaping people’s unconscious patterns in their relationships. Deanie is a registered psychological assistant (PSB94021348) in the process of becoming a licensed clinical psychologist.
Therapy with adults: Dr. Deanie Eichenstein is passionate about helping people understand how they became who they are in order to live a more meaningful and authentic life. She particularly enjoys working with millennial women struggling with dating, relationship issues and anxiety. Deanie believes that in order to break your patterns, you have to understand their roots and purpose in your life.
Therapy with children and adolescents: Before graduate school, Dr. Deanie taught preschool where she discovered her passion for working with kids and families. Deanie uses collaborative play and conversation as a means to help kids identify, understand and cope with their feelings. She supports parents by helping them understand their child’s mind and developmental stage. Deanie particularly enjoys working with adolescent girls.
