Is your daughter struggling with the transition of becoming a teenager? School can be stressful, girls can be mean, and the demands to achieve often leave teens feeling anxious and alone. In addition, a death or divorce can add an extra layer of stress to an already tough time. I can help your daughter learn how to navigate relationships, manage sensitive feelings, and talk out her frustration (instead of yelling at you).
I specialize in working with adolescent girls. As teens often see me as younger than their parents, they have an easy time relating to me. This connection helps build the foundation to work through feelings of stress, isolation, and peer pressure. If you have a younger child that needs support, my intern, Deanie Eichenstein, has more experience in this area.
- Perfectionism/Anxiety: In this day and age, we all want to achieve great things, and this can cause stress when we don't do it "right." I can help your daughter learn to manage the expectations and feelings that come up around this.
- Girls Raised by Dad: There are some unique dynamics that come up when a dad raises a daughter. I love working with dads and their daughters to improve relationships and manage dilemmas that arise.
